Damon C. Adams, DDS, graduate of the University of
Michigan, is an assistant clinical professor in the dental
residency program at the Medical University of Ohio. He
served as the doctor-technician liaison for a high-end
dental laboratory for over 10 years. Dr. Adams has written
articles on clinical, laboratory, insurance, and marketing
topics for numerous dental publications. (S-6)

Brian Arnett, DMD, graduated from the University of
Louisville in 1998. He is a state board certified prosthodontist.
He currently practices at the Renew Dental Institute
in Louisville, Kentucky, where he has a commercial
lab at the offce. (S-15)

Robert Ash, BS, CP, ACHE, is founder of Ash Enterprises,
a consulting and training firm. He is a lecturer,
trainer, consultant, and writer for dental laboratories,
dentists and sales reps. Robert consults with dental laboratories
and dental offices teaching them how to
improve quality, production, and employee relationships.
He has spoken at numerous dental laboratory and
dental conventions throughout the United States. Robert
is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has been a therapist for over 25

Darwin Bagley, AS, CDT, is the Director of Education
at Attachments International and has 20 years of experience
in the dental technology field. He is the author of
professional journals and newsletters and has worked
in-house directly with patients. (F-22)

|
Thomas G. Bormes, President of PREAT Corporation,
has spent 30 years in the dental industry. He is a Fellow
and Master of the American Academy of Implant Prosthesis
and has presented courses on design, selection
and fabrication of precision attachment-retained prosthesis
in 22 countries. Tom has presented more than 90
courses in dental practice administration and dental laboratory
management. Tom has also designed six precision
attachment systems. (F-27)

Ruth Bourke, BSC, started her career as a dental technician
began in London over 25 years ago. She opened
her own laboratory in 2004 and joined the University of
Washington as an affiliate faculty member of the Department
of Restorative Dentistry. (S-16)

Ricki Braswell, CAE, serves as Co-Executive Director
of the National Association of Dental Laboratories
(NADL). She is also the publisher of the Journal of Dental
Technology. (F-16)

Byron Braun, BA, is a graduate of Indiana University.
He is president of Braun Wealth Management Group in
Fort Wayne, Indiana. His group is currently involved with
the ongoing management of close to two hundred million
dollars. Byron's clients range from the selfemployed
to retirees, as well as private foundations and
endowments. In 1997, he was recognized by Registered
Representative magazine as one of the 10 most outstanding
brokers in the United States. (S-20)

Douglas E. Brydels, CDT, has over twenty years of
experience and is a technical specialist for Dentsply
Prosthetics. He has worked in all phases of partial dentures
over the years, including a large Vitallium Laboratory.
He is currently involved in research for new techniques
and materials for removable partial dentures.

Yi-Yun Chang, CDT, MS, graduated in 2001 from
Louisiana State University School of Dentistry with a
bachelor's degree in dental technology and from the
UCLA Master Dental Ceramist Program in 2003. He as
been on faculty at UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry
since 2003. He provides technical support for students
with their laboratory work. Currently, Mr. Chang has presented
lectures and teaches public hands-on porcelain
layering courses for leading dental companies. (F-28)
